Dr. Alexis Rapin is a psychiatrist and sexologist who has specialized in treating psychological trauma for over ten years.
A former hospital practitioner at the Paris Est Val-de-Marne Hospitals, Dr. Rapin has developed recognized expertise in supporting patients who have experienced trauma related to war, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, collective or personal accidents, and domestic and sexual violence. He is skilled in techniques such as EMDR, Brainspotting, hypnosis, and TCAI.
His practice is based on an integrative approach to mental and sexual health, combining Western allopathic methods with Eastern approaches focused on preventive and functional medicine. He is also interested in advances in predictive medicine.
In a constant effort to expand his knowledge and benefit his patients, he is also skilled in phytotherapy and medical aromatherapy, nutrition and micronutrition, acupuncture, auriculotherapy, palm and foot reflexology, and sophrology.
He taught sexology for several years at the Paris Descartes and Xavier Bichat medical schools.
He has also contributed to specialist articles for the Atlantico media outlet.
Since November 1, 2025, Dr. Rapin has held the position of Deputy Medical Director at La Métairie Clinic.
